Do I have to buy inventory ahead of time?
You do not. With Zendrop, you won’t need to hold any inventory. You’ll only be charged for product and shipping costs when a customer makes a payment. Once you make a sale, we handle 100% of the product fulfillment.
Is the store built by Ai?
Yes, each store we offer is built by Ai. This means it serves as a template for you to build upon and should not be considered a "done-for-you business." We provide a ready-to-use website, not a fully operational business.
How do I know your suppliers are trustworthy?
Our CEO and Founder, Jared Goetz, scaled several multi-million dollar dropshipping stores after finding reliable suppliers. We built Zendrop to give dropshippers a platform they can rely on.
How do my customers get their products?
All you need to focus on is selling products and let us handle logistics. Set your orders to fulfill automatically, and as soon as they are processed, your dashboard will populate tracking numbers automatically.
How many products will I get on my store?
All our stores come preloaded with 20 products.
Is Zendrop like Aliexpress?
No. AliExpress is a marketplace of middlemen, which often results in heavily inflated prices and low-profit margins. Processing and shipping can take weeks. Zendrop works directly with suppliers and manufacturers to provide the best rates possible, leaving you with healthier profit margins. Zendrop’s manufacturers process orders within 1–2 days.
What other fees are associated with this?
The only additional cost is hosting for your Shopify store. You will receive a 3-day free trial, and if you choose to keep it, hosting costs just $1 for the first month through Shopify. You can cancel at any time, and there are no contracts or hidden fees.
Does Zendrop offer more advanced services?
Yes. “Zendrop Plus” provides users with access to live weekly coaching, a list of trending products, pre-built stores, e-commerce courses, print-on-demand services, and more. Zendrop Plus users are 4x more likely to make sales than free users. Users who make at least ten sales over three days can also apply for Zendrop Select. This free program offers white-labeling, private labeling, branding, custom quotes, extensive warehousing, and 3PL services in both China and the U.S., providing an overall white-glove experience.
If I source a product from a Chinese manufacturer, does the packaging have Chinese lettering?
No. Every order is first sent to our warehouses in China, where workers inspect the products for quality control. Afterward, everything is repackaged in nondescript packaging.
Can I test products before I sell them in my store?
Absolutely! You can place sample orders for yourself to ensure the products meet your requirements and are exactly what you’re looking for. Additionally, you can order samples for your customers. Ordering samples for yourself is a great way to create video creatives before you start selling the product.
How does tracking work?
Once an order is placed on Zendrop and fulfilled, a tracking code is uploaded to the product as soon as it is processed. This tracking number is also sent to Shopify via our API, ensuring your customers are notified of their tracking number promptly. As long as you keep Shopify’s default shipping notification settings, your customers will receive confirmation emails promptly.
